Perfectly balanced to gently slough away dead skin cells without stripping your skin of it’s much needed moisture, the AHA Cleanse rinses away dirt and excess sebum while revealing a brighter, more radiant complexion.
There are two rockstar ingredients hard at work here. The first of these is lactic acid, a reliable AHA (alpha hydroxy acid for the uninformed) that loosens the bond between your fresh, luminous skin and the dead skin cells that are clinging on to make it appear dull and textured. Next, there’s polyhydroxy acid (also known as PHA), which not only supports this gentle exfoliation, but also attracts and retains moisture within the skin for skin-plumping hydration. Swap this cleanser in with a more gentle formula; we recommend two or three times a week to maximise exfoliation without overworking your skin. Psst… this cleanser is better for the environment as well as your skin — thanks to a slot-in refill inner tube that clicks seamlessly into your existing cleanser package.
Use PM every 3rd night after pre-cleansing as your treatment cleanse – remember, be careful of your delicate eye area! Pump a coin-sized amount of cleanser into wet palms. Massage into your face using firm, circular, outward motions. After 60 seconds, rinse off.
To use AHA Cleanse as a Micro-Mask: massage AHA Cleanse into cleansed skin, leave for 7 minutes and then remove. We recommend that you do this once a week, maximum.
Created by dermal facialist and skin nerd Jennifer Rock, Skingredients offers a vegan and fragrance-free collection of formulas that feed skin with the skin equivalent of a balanced dinner plate — swapping the carbs and veg for topical probiotics, actives, vitamins, good fats and proteins. Hydrating, nourishing and gently exfoliating, the AHA Cleanse is part cleanser, part ‘micro-mask’ (a Skingredients speciality we can get on board with); in one (refillable!) bottle you’ll find the solution to all your dull, tired and fatigued complexion woes.
